Ex-England winger Steve McManaman has pointed out that Manchester United need to sign Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham in their bid for Premier League success again.

Bellingham has grown a lot since moving from Birmingham to join Dortmund in July 2020.

since then He was included in the England squad for Euro 2020 and at just 18 years old, he is now a core member of the current Blue Tigers squad.

Rumors abound with top clubs looking to sign Bellingham at the end of the season and ex-Reds star McManaman believes he has a huge need at Old Trafford

“He (Bellingham) has all the trophies to be a superstar,” McManaman said.

“When you look through the teams and the teams that can afford him, Manchester United is going to have that type of player in the midfield. Manchester City has Rodri, Ilkay Gundogan, Bernardo. Silva wouldn’t want that much.”

“Liverpool have Jordan Henderson, Thiago, Fabinho, it would definitely be a great signing. He’s a great player, but Liverpool probably don’t need him right now.”

“Henderson is coming to the end of his career, James Milner too, so Liverpool can always bring in another central midfielder. But it was very crowded.”

“Jorginho Wijnaldum left the team in the summer. And people said they had to find someone to replace them. But they didn’t. But if people will move on and Jurgen will bring Jude in, it’s another story.”

“City can support him. But they have a lot of great players on the team. And he might not play.”
